Our Mission
The Gatehouse Community Hub is a grassroots initiative with a mission to save and transform the historic Gatehouse Pub into a thriving community-owned space. We’re dedicated to preserving the pub’s traditional charm while evolving it into a hub that brings people together—whether through local events, social gatherings, or connecting with nature. Our vision is to keep the Gatehouse a place where everyone feels welcome, ensuring it remains a cherished part of our community for years to come.
Be part of something big
In ongoing negotiations with the current owner, we will need to raise in excess of £500,000 to acquire and renovate The Gatehouse. This will be achieved through both grants and donations with support from the Norwich community. A pub from the people, for the people.
